Celebrating our Volunteers
Preserving our Legacy
Join our annual Preserving Our Legacy celebration and benefit for the Farmington Land Trust. Enjoy cocktails, conversation, and dinner with friends and fellow conservationists. Join us as we honor all the volunteers and their efforts to Preserve, Protect and Care For our Land. This is a special evening to share your commitment and enthusiasm, for good conservation, and to catch up on all things FLT.
Sallie Norris is the special honoree of the evening. Sallie has made important contributions to many organizations in Hartford and right here in Farmington. She cofounded the Village Nursery School and the Farmington Field Club, where she dominated the tennis scene for many years. She served as President of the Farmington Garden Club and the Art Guild. In Hartford, Sallie was a major contributor to the growth and success of My Sister's Place.
The Celebrating our Volunteers dinner and cocktails will be held Thursday, September 28, 5:30-9:00 p.m., at Farmington Gardens, 999 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT. Tickets are $125 per person for members and $150 per person for non-members; or sign on as Patron for $500, including seating for two and recognition in the program. You may instead opt to participate as a Table Sponsor of eight for $1,500 with program recognition.
To help support the FLT trail development and maintenance funds, you may contribute to our cause within a cause, and host a table of eight for $2500. Cause within a cause sponsors will be recognized in the program and at the event, and have their logo on the event webpage.
