As a trusted resource and vocal advocate for the acquisition and preservation of open space by the Town of Farmington, FLT:

• Assigns two of its Board members to the Town of Farmington Land Acquisitions Committee

• Provides input into the Town’s planning and regulatory processes

• Provides resources to residents who are concerned with the effects of land development on Farmington’s natural environment

• Explains the town’s approval process to interested parties who want to maintain the town’s environmental integrity

• Educates the public about the importance and benefits of land conservation
