Little Trailblazers Outdoor Nature Program

Get Outside, Play & Explore with Your Pre-School Aged Child
Come interact with nature and connect with your child at the Wilcox-Bushley Homestead and Environmental Education center. Our new program includes nature walks, crafts, stories and outdoor games related to a new theme each week. This program is designed for children ages 4 and 5 accompanied by a caregiver who will play an active role in the learning activities.

Classes will be held on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m. Rain or shine!

Registration fee is $375 for the 15 classes ($25 per class)

Deadline to register is May 30, 2025

Space is limited

Session I runs from Thursday, September 4 to Thursday, December 18, 2025.
(Session II will run January 15, 2026 to May 7, 2026.)

About Our Educator
Jessica Lecours taught elementary special education for many years and lives in Farmington. She is also completing the Goodwin Center Master Naturalist certification program. Jessica served as the Board President for the Village Nursery School from 2018-2020. She started volunteering with the Farmington Land Trust in 2021 as a member of the education committee. She is also an educator for FLT’s district-wide Farmington second grade pollinator field trip.
