Little Trailblazers Outdoor Nature Program

Come connect with your child and nature at the Wilcox-Bushley Homestead and Environmental Education center.
​
Designed for children ages 4 and 5 accompanied by a caregiver, this new program includes nature walks, crafts, stories and outdoor games related to a new theme each week. Caregivers will play an active role in the activities.

Monthly classes will be Thursdays from 9:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m. Rain or shine!

Registration fee is $100 for four classes ($25 per class)

Meet Educator and Naturalist Jessica Lecours

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Jessica Lecours is a Farmington resident who taught elementary special education for many years. She is completing the Goodwin Center Master Naturalist certification program, served as the Board President for the Village Nursery School from 2018-2020, and has volunteered with the Farmington Land Trust since 2021 as a member of the education committee. Jessica is also an educator for FLT’s district-wide Farmington second grade pollinator field trip.
